52 postcards collected by Lieutenant-Colonel Ruby Winslow Linn, U.S. Army dietician, most dating between between ca. 1980-1993. These postcards depict various hotels and sights visited on her travels through Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia. There are also a number of postcards depicting the Tamassee D.A.R. School in Tamassee, S.C., to which Ruby Winslow Linn was a donor, as well as of various rooms at the Memorial Continental Hall, National Society D.A.R. in Washington, D.C. Also included are postcards of views of Japan, probably collected by Ruby's husband LaVon Parker Linn while he was stationed there during World War II.
